Meeting the needs of all of your students can be a challenge! It is my goal to help provide teachers with research-based tips and resources to help all of your students succeed. I have worked in public schools for the past 6 years in several different capacities. I started my teaching journey as an Ed. Tech. III working in a 3rd – 5th grade resource room. Then I spent two years in fifth grade, followed by two years in fourth grade, which cemented my passion for working with middle grade students.
I am currently an Academic Interventionist / Literacy specialist focusing on helping students in grades 4 and 5. As part of my role, I also act as a mentor for the teachers in my building. On my blog, I will share with you the resources and tips that I have found to be useful with my RtI (Response to Intervention) students, as well as the professional development that I provide to my classroom teachers. Additionally, I will share ideas and tricks that have made my life as an Interventionist and Coach easier.
